University of Arizona employees, including those with same sex domestic partners, have two dental insurance options available to them through the Arizona Department of Administration (ADOA) Benefit Options.
Employees who would like to enroll an opposite sex domestic partner as a dependent may select one of the University of Arizona's Alternative Dental Plans.
ADOA BENEFIT OPTIONS DENTAL PLANS
- Restricted to selected Primary Dental Providers
- Reduced costs for services (co-payments)
- May see any licensed dentist
- Preventive services not subject to annual deductible
- Restorative services subject to annual deductible, then plan pays a percentage of post-deductible expenses for basic and major restorative services.
