University of Arizona benefits-eligible employees may join the voluntary Employee Auto and Homeowner’s Group Discount Insurance Program, offered through Liberty Mutual Insurance Company and Travelers, two of the nation’s leading auto and home insurance carriers. These discounted group rates, not available to the general public, are available through the voluntary Employee Auto and Homeowner’s Group Discount Insurance Program.

Biosphere 2 Guided Tours

Boyce Thompson Arboretum State Park

During Boyce Thompson Arboretum's annual fall plant sale in October, admission is waived for UA employees and students with a CatCard. Enjoy two miles of trails through beautiful desert gardens (leashed dogs permitted), then check out the plant sale for arid-adapted plants, herbs, trees, and succulents.

College of Fine Arts Performances

Receive a discount on tickets to shows produced by the College of Fine Arts, including dance, music and theatrical performances. The discounts vary by school (dance, music, or theatre), but all three programs are among the top five public university programs nationally, so the performances are worth seeing. Tickets can be ordered through the box office, by phone, or online.

UA students and employees with a CatCard gain free admission to the Arizona State Museum and University of Arizona Museum of Art. Admission to Biosphere 2 is discounted 50%

For most performances, an allocation of tickets is available to full-time students for $15, and to University faculty and staff for $20. Once the allocated tickets have been sold, students, faculty, and staff can purchase tickets at 10% off the regular price. You must purchase tickets at the Centennial Hall Box Office and show your CatCard to receive these discounts. Watch for a “one-day” sale event each fall, when tickets for most events will be available for just $10 for students and $15 for UA staff. That’s the time to stock up on tickets for UApresents offerings throughout the season.

Qualified Tuition Reduction/Domestic Partner Tuition Program

Benefits-eligible employees, official retirees, and their spouses can take courses at any of the three state universities for $25. Dependent children pay 25% of resident tuition fees. Domestic partners (and their dependent children) of UA benefits-eligible employees or retirees receive parallel discounts at UA only.

Cat Tran campus shuttles are free for UA students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Routes cover the Main Campus, Arizona Health Sciences Center, and the USA building downtown. The TransLoc app allows you to view the locations of the shuttles in real time (http://arizona.transloc.com/).
