Purpose of Classification:

Organizes the development and implementation of a Teaching Artist Graduate Certification that bridges the four schools in the College of Fine Arts. Creates interdisciplinary program(s) that connect the arts to each other and to other colleges in the university.

Example of Duties:

  • Creates a new certification for current and future students in the College of Fine Arts
  • Researches existing Teaching Artist Graduation Certification programs in the United States
  • Creates interdisciplinary opportunities for students in the various art forms/classes
  • Provides lessons in the Alexander Technique for students, faculty, and community

Minimum Qualifications:

Master's degree with More than 8 years of directly comparable experience; OR PhD/professional degree with more 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience
