Purpose of Classification:

Collects, organizes, and manages state-mandated Archaeological Records Office. Designs, builds, and maintains structured query language databases with a geographic information system (GIS) component for the AZSITE GIS.

Example of Duties:

  • Maintains, develops, and upgrades databases and geographic information systems
  • Manages the paper flow with the Archival Records Office
  • Manages staff and students involved in populating the system
  • Presents and provides tutorials on system operation

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience; OR master's degree with 3 to 5 years of directly comparable experience
