Ethics & Values for Supervisors

Explore how your personal ethics and values, and those of your organization and employees, affect your decision-making as a supervisor. We'll discuss both theoretical and practical ways to approach ethical dilemmas at work, examine ethical reasoning and decision-making, and how to have SMART conversations about ethics. This session includes activities and strategies for specific ethical dilemmas and increases awareness of ethical issues that may arise in the workplace.  Additionally, we will utilize ethical decision-making processes and frameworks to analyze and resolve ethical issues in management.

 

Individuals who supervise at least two classified staff, appointed professionals, faculty, or student workers/graduate associates are eligible for the Supervisor Essential Series courses.
