Honest & Effective Communication for Supervisors

SMART conversations are a powerful tool with an enormous impact on the success of any employee and their organization. Being Honest and Effective in your communications increases employee engagement, boosts workplace productivity, and drives organizational growth. In this session, we examine the challenges and opportunities of developing work relationships emphasizing candor. Explore how candor benefits you as a leader or manager, and how you can more effectively communicate with your staff and colleagues.

Courses open approximately one month before the scheduled date. Those who sign up for professional development emails will be alerted. 

Individuals who supervise at least two classified staff, appointed professionals, faculty, or student workers/graduate associates are eligible for the Supervisor Essential Series courses.
