Interview Techniques that Work for Supervisors

Wednesday, January 31, 2018 - 9:00am to 12:00pm
University Services Building, Room 214

As a supervisor, one of your most important jobs is hiring people who are qualified to do the work needed and who will fit in with your organization. This session provides techniques you can use to accomplish both of these tasks, and how to have SMART conversations with prospective candidates. Also, we will practice these skills in a ‘mock interview’ setting.

Courses open approximately one month before the scheduled date. Those who sign up for professional development emails will be alerted.

Individuals who supervise at least two classified staff, appointed professionals, faculty, or student workers/graduate associates are eligible for the Supervisor Essential Series courses.
