Financial Education & Consulting Resources

The Arizona Board of Regents contracts with both Fidelity Investments and TIAA to provide the Optional Retirement Plan and 403(b) supplemental Retirement plan. As part of these contracts, both Fidelity and TIAA offer a variety of financial education resources to all UA employees whether or not you have an account with them.

Individual Financial Consulting

Meet with a representative from Fidelity Investments or TIAA to review your financial situation and plan for future financial needs. Representatives are Certified Financial Planners who are not paid on commission.

Fidelity Investments E-Learning

Fidelity Investments offers various types of online sessions, addressing topics of interest to employees at all stages of their careers, from saving for college to estate planning:

  • YouTube Videos on a variety of financial topics are publicly available.
  • “Brainsharks” Workplace Education Series are prerecorded workshops you can access on-demand via your computer at any time. These are accessible to all UA employees, whether or not you have a Fidelity account. You can find workshop links along with various information for University employees at
  • Free live webinars are scheduled daily. Anyone with a Fidelity account and log-in credentials can register. Click here for instructions to access Fidelity’s online webinars. You can find a schedule by going to and clicking on the blue banner.

TIAA Virtual Environment

TIAA Webinar Lounge offers a schedule of live webinars, posted 3 months at a time. These are available to all University employees, whether or not you have a TIAA account. First-time users must sign up.

Women’s Engagement Center is a great place for women to go for information sharing and insight from some of the most influential women in the financial services industry.
