Purpose of Classification:

Manages the operations functions within the Office of the Registrar.

Example of Duties:

  • Ensures systems and procedures are in place to support operations
  • Develops and implements modified, enhanced, or new systems as appropriate
  • Assists in the development and maintenance of appropriate academic standards and policies
  • Ensures implementation of and adherence to academic policies
  • Monitors and recommends exceptions to policy
  • Assists department and college representatives with the management and understanding of student records policies
  • Communicates orally and in writing to students, faculty, and staff
  • Represents the Office of the Registrar on University committees
  • Supervises staff

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree with 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience; OR master's degree with 3 to 5 years of directly comparable experience; OR PhD/professional degree with 1 to 3 years of directly comparable experience
