Purpose of Classification:

Develops, directs, administers, teaches, and otherwise runs two major outreach medical education programs: the Commitment to Underserved People (CUP) Program and the Rural Health Professions Program.

Example of Duties:

  • Develops and monitors all rural sites and students
  • Teaches and monitors "thread" content in general curriculum
  • Develops and monitors the 20 CUP programs and works with community partners
  • Coordinates HIV grant through Family and Community Medicine Department

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD/professional degree with 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience
