Purpose of Classification:

Oversees the design, implementation, review, and continuous improvement of the curriculum at the College of Medicine, Phoenix, with emphasis on years 1 and 2.

Example of Duties:

  • Ensures educational objectives meet Liaison Committee on Medical Education (LCME) requirements, are aligned with LCME standards, and prepare students for the Step 1 exam
  • Assists in developing goals, learning objectives, and assessment tools for blocks/courses
  • Oversees testing for all 4 years, including test acquisition, proctoring needs, etc.
  • Integrates technology and non-lecture-based teaching methods into the curriculum
  • Participates in all curriculum-related meetings to provide resources and guidance

Minimum Qualifications:

PhD/professional degree with 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience
