Purpose of Classification:

Markets, books, plans, and trains staff to facilitate the Campus Recreation Challenge Program. Supports Outdoor Adventures marketing, staff training, and program development.

Example of Duties:

  • Plans and facilitates programs and trips
  • Markets the Challenge Program and Outdoor Adventures
  • Develops on-campus and community connections
  • Processes payroll and paperwork and performs accounting tasks
  • Plans and manages a budget for assigned area
  • Trains and supervises student workers

Minimum Qualifications:

Associate's degree with 5 to 8 years of directly comparable experience; OR bachelor's degree with 3 to 5 years of directly comparable experience; OR master's degree with 1 to 3 years of directly comparable experience; Wilderness First Responder certification required
