Identifying and Reporting Concerning Employee Behavior for Supervisors

How do you respond to an employee crisis or other unexpected event in the workplace?  What would you do if one employee in your department were threatening another? What action should you take when an employee claims to have been subjected to sexual harassment or discrimination? What if an employee appears to be at work under the influence of alcohol or drugs? This session focuses on strategies to identify and respond to these and other behavioral concerns. Participants apply their knowledge and sharpen their management skills by working through a series of case studies.

Individuals who supervise at least two classified staff, appointed professionals, faculty, or student workers/graduate associates are eligible for the Supervisor Essential Series courses.
