As a University of Arizona employee, you were hired because of your experience and talents. Now you are joining a community of more than 50,000 employees and students. The UA Career Foundations class is designed to help you find your place in the university community and begin to capitalize on the achievements that brought you here.

In this class, you will explore the wealth of university resources that can enhance your success and enrich your experience at the UA, including opportunities related to health and wellness, financial growth, employment, professional development, and culture. You will leave the class with a plan to leverage these opportunities to maximize your career satisfaction, knowledge about the UA community and its accomplishments, and better understanding of the important role you play the University’s future.

UA Career Foundations is offered once a month; attendance within your first two months of employment is highly encouraged.

If you haven't done so already, please sign up for the UA Welcome & Benefits Orientation for an overview of the benefit and retirement plans available to benefits-eligible employees of the University of Arizona.
