Information About Your Benefits

ADOA Medical Plans for 2021

The Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) and Exclusive Provider Organization (EPO) plans are being replaced with a new plan called the Triple Choice Plan (TCP). Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and UnitedHealthcare will be the medical insurance carriers.

The High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) with Health Savings Account (HSA) will continue to be offered, but with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Arizona and UnitedHealthcare as new insurance carriers and Optum as the new HSA bank.

Some premiums will change. The University will continue to contribute approximately 88% of the total premium cost. Some deductibles and out-of-pocket maximums will increase.
