Position Description

The University of Arizona seeks a dynamic and collaborative Vice President Facilities, Operations and Campus Planning. This prominent role provides opportunities for a savvy and well-rounded leader to pursue a strong and sustainable vision for UArizona’s world-class campuses, aligned with the needs and desires of the university’s vibrant and diverse community. The VP oversees all aspects of campus operations for UArizona’s main, 392-acre Tucson campus and 30-acre Phoenix Biomedical Campus.

The VP also serves as a leader on campus and in UArizona’s broader communities for developing and implementing policy to steward the campuses forward in smart and sustainable directions centered on UArizona’s strategic priorities. Importantly, the VP oversees high-functioning auxiliary business operations including the university's bookstores, student unions, and parking and transportation services.
