Calendars and Annual Discretionary Pay Change Moratorium

Here are some important dates to note

  • The annual moratorium on discretionary pay rate changes will be in effect from May 18, 2020, through June 30, 2020, for GAs and student workers. Retroactive dated changes will not be accepted.
     
  • The moratorium on all job changes (transfers, promotions, and compensation increases) for all non-student employees remains in effect until July 31, 2020. Changes will not be accepted without a waiver from the respective Senior Vice President.
     
  • The deadline for enrollment in the 9/12 Pay Option program, or to opt-out of the 9/12 Pay Option, has been extended to Friday, May 29, 2020. Late requests to enroll or opt-out that are received after May 29, 2020, will not be accepted (no exceptions).
     
  • If you receive notice that an employee currently enrolled in the 9/12 Pay Option does not intend to return for the 2020/2021 academic year and will not be working over the summer, you must submit a MSS Termination by Monday, May 18, 2020, with a termination or retirement effective date of May 25, 2020.
