HR Debuts New Website

Dear campus colleagues,

As part of our ongoing efforts to better serve you, welcome to our completely reimagined new website. We hope you agree the new site is easier, faster, and smarter - getting you to the right content, right when you need it. We invite you to take a look and share your feedback on how to make it even more useful.

In the coming weeks, we will continue to improve the site, adding additional content and information. In particular, shortly after launch we hope to debut an enhanced HR Alliance area, that will feature "how to's," frequently asked questions, and key information for HR Alliance members. In the meantime, should you discover something is missing, please do not hesitate to email to let us know. 

Additionally, effective today, the Classified Staff Human Resources Policy Manual and University Handbook for Appointed Personnel are no longer housed on the HR website. There is a “policies” link at the top of every page of the new site, but the content is now located at under both the “Policy Manuals” and “Employment/Human Resources” sections.

Initially, the plan had been to debut a new fully searchable, consistent format for all policies in both manuals. However, due to some last-minute issues, we are unable to go live with this feature immediately. In order to ensure that the policies remain publicly accessible, we are implementing a temporary measure. The two manuals as they currently exist have been merged into large (searchable) PDF files. We will be moving forward as quickly as possible toward the final, fully functional HTML versions.
