The Workforce Systems physical office space is closed for renovation from December 12, 2016 through the week of January 6, 2017. Mail may be dropped off at the University Services Building (USB), Room 114. The main office line will remain operational; however, voicemail, Lync and email will be the contact method to reach individual Workforce Systems staff members. Last week, we communicated news that on Tuesday, November 22, 2016, a U.S. District Court judge issued a preliminary, nation-wide injunction halting implementation of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL)’s new overtime rule. While that injunction is considered preliminary, it is indefinite in duration. As a result, the University of Arizona (UA) is adjusting its scheduled implementation of FLSA regulation changes.
