Conversations That Matter (Virtual)

When

Nov. 3 – 5, 2026, 9 – 11 a.m.

Where

Most of us have a conversation we've been putting off. A colleague whose behavior is affecting the team. Feedback you haven't figured out how to give. A situation that feels awkward to name.

Conversations That Matter (CTM) is a free, practice-based communication skills program that gives you the tools to have those conversations before they become harder to address.

Over three 2-hour sessions, you'll build the foundational skills to recognize avoidance patterns, understand what's driving them, and practice navigating uncomfortable moments with confidence. Sessions are interactive, require active participation with peers, and are held in a confidential setting.

You'll leave with a personal action plan and an accountability partner.

CTM is designed for the moment before things escalate, when the stakes are still manageable, and the conversation is still yours to start.

Free and open to all University of Arizona faculty and staff.
