The university's applicant tracking system, called Talent, is transitioning software vendors, effective Jan. 25, 2027. As you plan your recruitments, please be aware of the job posting moratorium (Dec. 10, 2026-Jan. 25, 2027), which pauses new job postings while the university moves to the new Talent platform.

The University of Arizona has adopted a new Space Management and Flexible Work Policy, effective July 15, 2026. The policy introduces new expectations for documenting work locations and flexible schedule agreements.

As of June 30, Human Resources is responsible for creating all faculty job postings in the Talent Applicant Tracking System.

Benefits-eligible UA employees now have free access to Savi, a student loan tool that helps you explore repayment options and potentially lower your payments. Enrollees save an average of $187/month.

“We have heard that staff are not all receiving performance-specific feedback and units want something a little bit more objective,” said Helena Rodrigues, chief human resources officer. “Units also want an easier process for everyone involved. So, we’re revisiting the tool.”

The university is evolving Career Conversations, the annual career growth and planning cycle for staff. We are implementing changes to support more meaningful conversations about performance and professional growth and to make the process easier for staff and supervisors.
