Disputes Related to Separation From Employment

For up to ten (10) working days following separation from employment, a University Staff employee who believes they were separated from employment in violation of the University Staff Separation From Employment Policy, the University Staff Reduction in Force/Layoff Guidelines, or other University or public policy, should contact Human Resources.

Please be prepared with the reasons you believe the separation violates University or public policy and any relevant facts that support your position. Once received, Human Resources representatives will confidentially review the dispute to determine whether any violation of University or public policy occurred, and may conduct additional research or follow-up before issuing a written decision to the employee.
