Position Life Cycles

Position Life Cycles provide the ability to track historical data about positions, and in some cases to eliminate the need to reestablish supervisor and time approver information. Applying Position Life Cycles to our business practices means that new position numbers and budget line numbers are not required for changes where the overall position assignment and organizational reporting structure remain the same. UAccess Employee captures effective dated changes in position attributes separate from incumbent information recorded in job data; therefore, the new position number requirement is no longer necessary.
