Your Open Enrollment Checklist
Review your current benefits elections
Even before the Open Enrollment period opens, you can review your current benefits. Log in to UAccess and select UA Employee Main Homepage—University Benefits tile.
Access your enrollment
When you are ready to make your 2021 selections, log in to UAccess. Select UA Employee Main Homepage—Open Enrollment tile.
Make your selections
Click through the left-hand navigation tabs in order:
Welcome: Read important information.
Acknowledgment: Acknowledge the disclosures by clicking “I Agree” and then the “Save” button. This step must be completed.
Benefits Enrollment: Select a benefit plan card to make changes. You must re-elect every benefit you want to continue for the 2021 plan year.
Important: You must click "DONE" at the top of the page to save each change.
You may go into your enrollment and save changes as many times as you like until Open Enrollment closes on November 6. However, your changes will not be saved unless you click “Submit Enrollment.”
Upload Supporting Documents New for 2021
If you enroll a new dependent with a different last name than yours in medical, dental, and/or vision coverage -- and you have not previously submitted documentation that supports this dependent relationship to HR Solutions -- you may now upload the documents as part of Open Enrollment.
Submit your selections
When you are finished making your changes, you must click the green "SUBMIT ENROLLMENT" button in the middle of the screen to finalize your elections. Your enrollment will not process until you do so. Be sure to click ”View” on the Benefits Alert that appears followed by the 'Print View' button to print or save your enrollment submission.
To review your enrollment, select “My Benefits Statements” in the left hand navigation menu (See screen shot below). Review your elections to confirm they are correct. You will receive a confirmation statement by email in mid-November once Open Enrollment has ended and all enrollments have processed.
