If this is your first time using LinkedIn Learning, please follow the activation steps outlined below to get started. Once you have activated your account, you can access LinkedIn Learning content in three different ways. When signing in, enter your university email address (in @arizona.edu format).
- Log into EDGE Learning at arizona.sabacloud.com.
- Log in with your NetID and password.
- To start viewing the LinkedIn Learning content library, search for keywords or the course “How to Use LinkedIn Learning” using the search bar.
- Click on the Tile for the course you are interested in. After locating the course you want to view, click “Enroll.”
- Select “Continue” to launch your course.
- Use your University credentials for Single Sign On.
- Your course will appear in a new window. Note: If your course does not launch, you may need to disable pop-up blockers.
- The first time you log on, you will be asked questions about setting up your LinkedIn Learning account. All questions are optional, though we encourage you to complete them, and all responses are only visible to you.
- Set a Career Goal
- Connect your LinkedIn Profile (note you do not need a LinkedIn account to use LinkedIn Learning.)
- Select Skills to follow
- Set a weekly learning goal”
Connecting Your LinkedIn Accounts
You do not need a personal LinkedIn Profile to use LinkedIn Learning, but you can choose to connect your LinkedIn account with your LinkedIn Learning account the first time you log in or at any time thereafter. The benefits of connecting the accounts are:
- Your LinkedIn Learning record will be maintained even if you leave University employment
- You will receive personalized learning recommendations based on your job title, industry, and skills
- You can share your accomplishments and course completions with your LinkedIn connections
The University will not have access to your connections, private messages, job search activity (such as job posts you’ve viewed), or learning courses you’ve viewed in your personal account. Learn more about LinkedIn's privacy practices.
