Fiscal/Academic Year Reminders for Pay Period 5/17/2021

The following are important dates and deadlines within the next two weeks: 

Ongoing

  • The moratorium on discretionary pay changes1 for FY21 is in effect for all employee types, including Graduate Assistants/Associates and student workers. Discretionary pay changes effective for FY21 (6/30/2021 or earlier) are no longer accepted. 

May 17, 2021 – Monday

  • Graduate Assistant/Associate and Faculty/Appointed contract pagelets are turned off and only direct access is available

May 19, 2021 – Wednesday

  • MSS Terminations are due for Faculty/Appointed, Graduate Assistant/Associates not returning after the end of the academic year (Termination effective 5/23/2021)

May 21, 2021 – Friday

  • MSS FY22 Job Data Changes for Promotion & Tenure, Terminal, and Multi Year renewals are due to the Provost’s Office
  • MSS FY22 DCC extensions need to be finalized and approved by Department/College Approvers
  • MSS FY22 Job Data Changes for fiscal (7/1/2021) transactions are due to Workforce Systems

May 23, 2021 – Sunday

  • AY21 end date

May 26, 2021 – Wednesday

  • Last Day to approve June 30th and July 1st UAccess Financials account extensions before continuation account flip 

Past-Due

  • MSS Job Data Changes for Terminations or Retirements of 9/12 Pay Plan Employees (Academic Term Effective Date 5/24/2021).  (Due May 6, 2021)
  • MSS FY22 Job Data Changes for 9/12 Pay Plan Enrollments and Return to 9/9 Pay Plan – Department Deadline (Due May 10, 2021) – Late enrollments will not be accepted
  • MSS Exception Requests for Sabbaticals and Leave Without Pay Due to Workforce Systems (Fiscal/Academic) – (Due May 14, 2021)
