2025-2026 Notice of Appointment and Reappointment (NOA/NOR) templates

The 2025-2026 Notice of Appointment and Reappointment (NOA/NOR) templates are now available in UAccess for faculty and appointed professionals.
NOA/NORs are typically issued a week or two after the start of the academic year to allow for all processes related to new hires and job changes to finalize at the start of the semester, ensuring information is captured accurately in the NOA/NORs.
This year we conducted leadership review and system updates of NOA/NORs and made adjustments to simplify language for better user experience. This review led to a slight delay in generating and issuing NOA/NORs from UAccess Employee.
Important FY26 Instructions
- Some colleges/divisions may still have different business processes regarding NOA/NORs. Each college/division should work closely with their HR team regarding NOA/NORs to ensure consideration of college/division processes and the Salary Increase Program (SIP).
- If a faculty member receives an NOA/NOR and their SIP increase was not included, a new NOA/NOR is not necessary, but can be issued upon request. FY26 SIP increases are formally documented and reflected in UAccess Employee.
- Appointed employees should review and accept their NOA or NOR in the UAccess Employee > Contracts tile > View Contract > Select "Accept."
- In accordance with Arizona Board of Regents Policy Chapter 6 and the Handbook for Appointed Personnel 2.06.01, appointed employees must sign and accept their NOAs/NORs within the following timeframes after their NOA/NOR is posted in UAccess:
- Fiscal Appointments = 14 calendar days
- Academic Appointments = 30 calendar days
