2022-2023 Winter Supplemental Compensation Schedule and Updates

We are pleased to announce this year’s Winter Break Supplemental Compensation Schedule for Appointed Personnel is now available for your review: 

2022-2023 Winter Break Supplemental Compensation Schedule

Due to the addition of Juneteenth as a 2023 holiday, the supplemental compensation hourly multiplier for academic appointments has been updated to .000731, with up to 456 authorized hours available.  This schedule continues to result in 1/3 of the annualized academic salary as authorized earnings per year for academic appointments.

Important Instructions for Academic Appointments

Until UAccess Manager Self Service is updated to reflect the new hourly multiplier and maximum authorized hours for academic employees, you will need to:

• Calculate the new supplemental compensation hourly rate as follows: annualized academic salary * .000731
• On the MSS Supplemental Compensation Request, complete these fields as follows:
  • ‘Override Hourly Rate’: Enter ‘Yes’.
  • ‘Hourly Rate’: Enter the new calculated hourly rate.
  • ‘Override Hourly Rate Comment’: Indicate that you used the new calculated hourly rate of Annualized academic salary * .000731.
  • ‘Total Number of Hours to Be Worked’: Enter the number of hours authorized for the current supplemental compensation request.
• The total supplemental compensation authorized for AY23 cannot exceed 456 hours or 1/3 of the annualized academic salary.
