FY 2025 Working Days/Hours

FY 2025 will contain 2,088 working hours (261 days) compared with 2,080 hours (260 days) in FY 2024. Because University salaried employees are paid based on a 2,080-hour/260-day schedule, salaried employees' bi-weekly gross pay may appear slightly reduced, beginning with the July 12 paychecks.

The University of Arizona’s fiscal year runs from July 1 through June 30. Fiscal years can vary in the number of working days between 2,080 hours (260 days), 2,088 hours (261 days), or 2,096 hours (262 days), which causes slight differences in salaried employees' bi-weekly gross pay between fiscal years.

Please note: Salaries are not impacted. The number of working days in a fiscal year only impacts how salaries are broken down across pay periods, but not the total salary amount.
