“We are a community of sharing ideas, techniques and tools to help university project managers across all directorates, departments and colleges,” said Frank Gonzales, a steering committee member for the PM Community. The goal is to simply provide a platform and opportunity for campus project managers to collaborate and share experiences and knowledge to help the community achieve success with their project-based work.”

Visit the Project Management Community SharePoint page to find tools like a template library and training resources. Additionally, the PM Community hosts weekly office hours and monthly meetings to provide both ongoing and customized support for individuals with all project management skill and interest levels.

"As a project manager in the Data Science Institute where we have multiple ongoing projects at any given time, the PM Community has proven to be invaluable due to the collaboration, cooperation and sharing of experiences," said Rudy G. Salcido, program manager of the Data Science Institute. "The PM community provides a network of project managers across campus to simply ask questions or have a sounding board for ideas - then I can take those recommendations for immediate implementation. The PM Community continues to have a direct impact on my projects and educational curriculum development for workshops.”
