Deadlines are approaching for providing written notice to Appointed Personnel if the University does not intend to renew their contract.
We are pleased to announce this year’s Winter Break Supplemental Compensation Schedule for Appointed Personnel is now available for your review.
Due to the addition of Juneteenth as a 2023 holiday, the supplemental compensation hourly multiplier for academic appointments has been updated to .000731, with up to 456 authorized hours available. This schedule continues to result in 1/3 of the annualized academic salary as authorized earnings per year for academic appointments.

The University of Arizona is establishing a Health Reimbursement Arrangement to assist University employees with out-of-pocket expenses related to gender-affirming surgery and fertility treatments.
The University will increase minimum wage for staff to $14.35 per hour. For student workers, minimum wage will increase to $13.85 per hour. Both increases become effective Dec. 26, 2022.
Employees and members of their households can continue to access free, confidential counseling support 24/7 through ComPsych.
Employee assistance counselors will be available for all interested University of Arizona employees from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Friday in Room 113 of the University Services Building AND in the Copper room and Agave room, 4th floor in the Student Union Memorial Center.
